Flocculation of Silica (SiO2) Particles
Most flocculation studies up to now involve the JAR test method in which the separation, sedimentation, and stability behavior of particles is observed visually using the naked eye. However some of the major disadvantages using the JAR method are long measuring intervals, subjective readings, no automization, no integral information, along with large measurement volumes (50 mL or greater). With the LUMiFuge no such limitations exist. With the LUMiFuge you can analyze up to 8 samples simultaneously, accelerated the demixing process, and receive unbiased and accurate results over the whole sample height. .......
